  This beautifully restored 1954 Volkswagen Beetle Oval Window Coupe is a rare left-hand drive European-market example, distinguished by its factory 3-fold sliding ragtop and iconic flip-out semaphore turn signals. Subject to a comprehensive rotisserie restoration by a Volkswagen specialist, every detail has been meticulously refinished to a high standard.

  Finished in the stunning L412 Diamond Green exterior, this Beetle exudes period charm with subtle upgrades that enhance drivability while preserving its classic character. The original 6-volt system has been upgraded to a more reliable 12-volt setup, while power comes from an upgraded 1641cc flat 4-cylinder engine paired with a synchronized “freeway flyer” transmission—ideal for modern cruising. The rear suspension has also been upgraded to an independent rear suspension (IRS) setup, significantly improving handling and comfort.
