LMC is very proud to offer for sale this 2023 Dodge Charger King Daytona
With Dodge’s decision to make the new 2025 Charger electric powered, muscle car enthusiasts will look back at these “Last Call” models as the pinnacle of Mopar performance.
The 2022 Dodge Charger King Daytona’s was based on a Los Angeles-area Dodge franchise that gave “Big Willie” Robinson a new orange 1969 Hemi Dodge Charger Daytona. In 1968, with support from the Los Angeles Police Department, Big Willie Robinson founded the International and National Brotherhood of Street Racers. Robinson recognized the fact that drag racers came from all walks of life and racing events created a setting where everyone got along – focusing on cars and racing rather than misplaced anger and hate.
At first, the International and National Brotherhood of Street Racers hosted weekend pop-up drag racing events around L.A. The police would close down a mile-long section of public road and let Robinson’s organization host a drag racing event, often drawing tens of thousands of people to race and watch.
Though that car is long known as having been destroyed, Dodge saw fit to honor the man and his legacy with a limited run of just 300 “new King Daytonas” based on the 2023 Widebody SRT Hellcat Redeye Charger. Moreover, Dodge has this King ruling with extra horsepower, as its 6.2L V-8 boasts 807 ponies, 10 more than standard. Behind it, the 8-speed automatic features paddle-shift capabilities. There is also the Line lock launch control and an adaptive active Widebody competition suspension with big Brembo disc brakes and body-color SRT calipers to slow it down.
This Charger King Daytona offered here for sale is a one owner example with only 27 miles on the odometer, painted in the high impact Go Mango exterior paint the same as the original. The interior is quite fit for a king as well - Nappa leather and Alcantara bucket seats in black with orange accents, a suede headliner, an Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel with control buttons, Harman Kardon Audio Group, Auto-Stick shifter in the console, and no-nonsense pedal brightwork. The outside décor includes exclusive King Daytona side graphics, hood pins, scooped styled hood, widebody integrated aero enhancements and dual exhaust tips. The car rides on the 20x11-inch Satin Carbon Warp Speed wheels with low-profile radial tires.
With only 300 examples ever produced and the “Last Call” of the HEMI supercharged V8’s, this limited edition Charger will be collectible in the years to come. Especially with only 27 miles from new, this is the perfect collector example for your collection.
