  With the immense success of the 911 GT program, Porsche finally relented in 2016 to wide consumer demand for a hardcore version of the beloved Cayman by introducing the GT4. Since 2006, when it first launched, enthusiasts lavishly exulted the Cayman for its sublime handling and precision. However, the performance disparity between even entry-level 911s and the Cayman S was vast and left enthusiasts wanting for more. Porsche delivered on all of those hopes and dreams in grandiose ways with the GT4.

  The development utilized bin parts from the Carrera S, the GT3, and from the Cayman S to create an impressive package. The 3.8-liter flat-six motor from the Carrera S was specially modified to fit inside of the GT4s body and produced a base 911-beating 385-horsepower. The front suspension and aerodynamic influences – pure GT3. The GT4 even opened up the floodgates for buyers to select options that were previously unavailable to the Cayman range. In totality, it rebuked upon the cries from the crowd that chided Porsche for diluting the auspicious potential of the Cayman for so long. As of today, you can bid your way to one in your garage.

  The example offered here for sale is a 2016 Porsche GT4 ordered in the beautiful Agate Grey with Alcantara interior and carbon fiber bucket seats. It was delivered through Pfaff Porsche on July 31st, 2015 to its original owner. Some of the options include: Seat Belts In Guards Red, Fire Extinguisher, Contrast Stitch, Black Painted Wheels, Full Bucket Seats and 2 - Zone Climate Control. This example has been collector owned since new and currently has 11,135 miles on the odometer. 

  To further improve the overall performance and feel, the previous owner had a host of upgrades performed by the selling dealer at a cost of approximately $40,000. These upgrades include: GT3 throttle body, IPD intake plenum, BMC air filter, GMG exhaust manifold ( headers ), RSS rear suspension toe links and steer plates, stainless steel braided brake lines, synthetic brake fluid, Sharkwerks custom gear set (replacing 3rd, 4th and 5th gears ), Guard limited slip differential, lightweight flywheel, high performance clutch, pressure plate and release bearing, BBi taller wing upright supports, Cobb motorsport chip, window deflectors, and some other minor items. To protect the paint on this GT4, a protective clear film was installed on the complete front end. 

  The Cayman GT4 is one of the best driver cars to ever come out of Stuttgart.  Included in the are owner’s manuals and receipts for the work performed. This is the ideal street/track weapon that can be equally enjoyed doing both!
