  The driving experience in the Ferrari 488 Spider doesn't differ fundamentally from the 488 coupes, but this perception changes the instant you lower the roof to create an environment of big sky, immediacy, and freedom. Introduced in 2015, the 488 incorporated notable advancements over the 458 it replaced including an aluminum chassis and body shell, double-wishbone front and multi-link rear suspension with magnetic damping, and Brembo CCMD carbon-ceramic disc brakes. Powering the 488 Spider is a turbocharged 3.9L/661 HP alloy V-8 engine and dual-clutch F1 automatic gearbox, together capable of taking it well past 200mph. Ferrari considered giving this Spider a traditional convertible top but chose the Targa top because it saved 55 pounds. The top drops in 14 seconds and can be opened or closed at speeds up to 28 mph.

  This 2016 Ferrari F488 Spider is a showstopper finished in stunning Tour De France Blue with a matching power-operated hardtop. This 488 Spider presents an abundance of factory carbon fiber options that include carbon fiber driving zone, carbon-fiber shift paddles, carbon fiber central bridge, and carbon fiber steering wheel. The famed Prancing Horse decorates the nose, tail, front fenders, and yellow center caps of the alloy wheels wearing Pirelli P-Zero tires. The interior was also highly personalized in Cuoio leather upholstery with contrasting deviated Blue stitching. The golden rake carbon fiber sport seats provide excellent bolstering with stitched Cavallino prancing horse embroidery on the headrests. Driver controls and feedback include the Manettino steering wheel controls, a digital instrument cluster with yellow-faced tachometer, navigation, rear parking sensors, tire pressure, and temperature monitor, HomeLink garage door opener, power-folding side mirrors, auto-dimming rearview mirrors, and a passenger information display.
