The McLaren 650S Spider brings McLaren Formula 1 carbon fibre technology to the street. The carbon-fibre MonoCell chassis is strong and light, and keeps the Spider intimately connected to the road. Furthermore, it ensures the Spider stays just as stiff and strong once the roof is removed and it will not degrade like metal. To add, that roof can be raised or lowered in as little as 17 seconds and can be deployed at speeds of up to 19 MPH. The Spider has a staggering top speed of 204 MPH with a design that limits drag increase with the roof open to only 3%!

The engine is the heart of any supercar. The 650S spider is powered by a Twin Turbo, 3.8 Litre, 32 Valve V8 with Variable Valve Timing on its Dual Overhead Cams. The engine produces 641 HP at 7250 RPM with 500 FT LB Torque achieved at 6000 RPM. The twin turbos keep the output coming, producing 95% of the peak torque over the range of 3000 to 7000 RPM. It will launch you from 0 to 60 MPH in 2.9 seconds.

This 650S Spider is originally delivered through McLaren Toronto with an MSRP of $344,514. It is finished in stunning MSO Mantis Green with a Carbon Black interior. The Spider comes with numerous special options including carbon fibre exterior and interior upgrades; carbon fibre sill panels; carbon fibre mirror casings; Alcantara steering wheel; sport exhaust; electric and heated memory seats; silver brake calipers; a Meridian Surround sound upgrade and more.
