Released in for the 2007 model year, the Shelby GT500 was to be the newest high performance Mustang to come out of Ford's in house hot rod shop called Special Vehicle Team. A continuation of the very popular SVT Cobra, it also coincidentally marked the 40 model year anniversary since the first Shelby GT500 hit the market. Obviously if Shelby was going to allow his name to be used in conjunction with this car, it had to be a world class performing vehicle, and it did not disappoint.

Factory finished in eye catching Torch Red with optional black over the top racing stripes, the beautiful 2008 model Shelby GT500 presented here shows to have been meticulously cared for and well maintained since day one. Reviewing the factory window sticker shows that all the available options for a Shelby in 2008 are present and accounted for including HID headlamps, ambient lighting, GT500 Premium Trim Package and touch screen navigation. To this day the car shows 15,920 original kms (9,892 miles) since new and the exceptionally clean finish of the car demonstrates just how well it has been cared for. It has also remained unaltered since new with the exception of the exhaust system which gives the car a more aggressive but still unobtrusive sound while driving. The car of course comes with the complete factory exhaust/mufflers ready to be re-installed if the factory original arrangement is preferred.
