2008 Chevrolet Corvette Z06

LMC is very proud to offer for sale this 2008 Chevrolet Corvette 427 Limited Edition.

The C6 generation of Corvette was produced from 2005-2013 and featured many visual and performance changes from the C5 in an attempt to expand the Corvette market to Europe. In 2008, Chevrolet released the Corvette 427 Limited Edition, commonly known as the “Wil Cooksey” Edition. Only 505 of these Z06 models would be produced, 427 for the North American market, and 78 for other markets. Corvette aficionados will know Wil Cooksey as the Assembly Plant Manager at Bowling Green. He would retire shortly after the 427 Limited Edition would be released and personally signed and number every single one of these 505 Corvettes. The 427 Limited Edition would derive its name from the 427.7 cubic inch V8 that provides 505HP, propelling these special Vettes to a top speed of 198MPH.

This 2008 Chevrolet Corvette 427 Limited Edition is number 381 of 505 and dawns the Crystal Red and Titanium Leather trim that all 427 Editions would be produced with. Normal Z06 Corvettes never had the exterior option of Crystal Red. Along with the 427 badges and graphics adorning the exterior of the Corvette, it also has 427 embroidered seats and floor mats.  This special Z06 is in like new condition both interior and exterior, after being meticulously maintained over the years. The heads up display projects onto the base of the windshield, similar to a fighter jet, while the 7.0L LS7 propels you from 0-60MPH in just 3.4 seconds. Throwing back to the original 427 Corvettes, the hood is trimmed with Stinger style striping.

This 2008 Corvette 427 Limited Edition was a collectible and desired car ever since Wil Cooksey signed it and sent it off the assembly line. It is an historic homage to the great 427 Corvettes of yesteryear and is extremely rare to see anywhere in the world. The 427 badges, and embroidery ensure that this Z06 is as visibly special as it is collectible. Very few modern Corvettes are as rare and desired as these Wil Cooksey Edition Corvettes.
