The Z06 is a very special car in the C6 Corvette lineup and contains many enhancements over the standard vehicle for improved performance, handling and durability. A couple of significant and unique differences include the hand-built LS7 7.0L 427CI V8 (featuring titanium rods and intake valves, and a dry-sump oiling system) and an all aluminum chassis with magnesium structural and chassis components for stiffness and weight savings. Additional upgrades of importance are: larger/stiffer anti-roll bars, stiffer springs and shocks, larger rear spoiler and front splitter, transmission cooler, unique front fascia with intake inlet, wider front and rear fenders, functional front and rear brake ducts for added brake system cooling, unique lightweight forged aluminum 18-inch front and 19-inch rear wheels, larger 6-piston front and 4-piston rear calipers, including cross-drilled 14 front rotors and 13 in rear rotors. All this adds up to providing a maximum lateral acceleration of 1.04 g and 60-0 braking in 111.3 feet; it also circuited Germany‘s famed Nürburgring in a time of 7:43. As one of the fastest and most technologically advanced production models in Corvette’s history, the Z06 offers an unprecedented level of capability and technology, making it one of the best performance values on the market.

This 2008 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 has travelled a mere 4,200 miles and has been in the care of a very fastidious single owner and garage kept since its in service date of December 31, 2007. It looks spectacular in its all original and optional Velocity Yellow with the condition and finish of the paint looking virtually showroom. The Z06 engine is the all-aluminum LS7 which produces an astounding 505HP and 470 lbs of torque and is easily identified under the hood by its red valve covers and black lettering. The six-speed manual transmission has been strengthened to handle the LS7’s increased torque load and horsepower which combine to deliver 0-60 performance of 3.7 seconds in first gear, a quarter-mile time of 11.7 seconds at 125 mph and a top speed of 198 mph. For all its race-inspired functionality, the Z06 is designed to be driven-daily and to that end this highly optioned vehicle has the 1SB preferred equipment group and two-tone black leather heated seats with Z06-logo embroidery and contrasting stitching. Additional specific Z06 options include the Bose audio system with an in-dash six-CD changer, a telescoping steering wheel, memory seats, side-impact air bags, a navigation system with GPS / DVD and universal home remote. It also comes equipped with High-Intensity Discharge lighting, fog lamps, dual-zone air conditioning, cabin air filtration and head-up display (HUD) with track mode and g-meter are standard. The interior is in as-new condition throughout and demonstrating the previous proud owner’s dedication to detail, included are the custom Z06 floor mats which come with clear custom floor mat covers. The optional ($2,500) forged chrome 10 spoke wheels shine brightly, present as-new, with no curb rash to be found. The firmer Z06 specific suspension works harmoniously with the 325/30/19 rear tires and 275/35/18 front tires which are a matching set of Goodyear Eagle F1 extended-mobility tires with lots of tread life remaining. The underside of the vehicle is super clean, original and damage free and evidently looks to have been driven as a fair weather car only. The mufflers each feature a vacuum-actuated outlet valve, which controls exhaust noise during low-load operation (quiet) but opens for maximum power (loud). This car has an aftermarket control switch enabling the driver to have the exhaust valve remain open as desired.

The next owner will be provided the original GM Build Sheet, Window Sticker for this Corvette along with the original Bill of Sale, service history receipts and a clean Carfax / CarProof report. Having only one very particular owner from new and kept lovingly in climate controlled storage, the car is in like new condition and ready to be enjoyed.
