The Corvette has been Chevrolet’s flagship sports car since the original C1 debut in 1953.  Over the years, Chevrolet has increased the power output of the engine and given it some more performance credentials, however the concept is still the same.  It's a beautifully styled, low-slung, road-hugging two-seater that sports a powerful V8 engine upfront and a fantastic engine note at the rear.  

The Z06 contains many enhancements over the standard C6 Corvette for improved handling and performance. Differences include the hand-built LS7 7.0L 427CI V8 with dry-sump oiling system, aluminum chassis with fixed roof, larger/stiffer anti-sway bars, stiffer springs and shocks, larger rear spoiler and front splitter, transmission cooler, unique front fascia with intake inlet, the wider carbon fiber front and fiberglass rear fenders, functional front and rear brake ducts for added brake system cooling, unique lightweight forged aluminum 18-inch front and 19-inch rear wheels, larger 6-piston front and 4-piston rear calipers, including cross-drilled 14 front rotors and 13 in rear rotors and available with various interior trim packages.
