Only 1,303 miles, Stunning colour combination .The Ford GT is unquestionably the American contribution to the Supercar world.  The Ford GT pays tribute to the original Ford GT40 race car which dominated the Le Mans racing series during the late 1960s.  Not only does the Ford GT have a great racing history, this supercar gets attention and turns heads everywhere it goes.  Getting your hands on an original Ford GT40 is near impossible, but this Ford GT is a far more practical vehicle with all of the great performance and authentic details.

As with many exotic vehicles, when the Ford GT was first released, the demand outpaced supply, creating long wait lists and premium prices.  The first private sale of Ford's new mid-engine sports car was completed on August 4, 2004, when a former Microsoft executive earned the right to purchase the first production Ford GT (chassis #10) at a charity auction at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance Auction after bidding over $557,000.  Recently demand for these cars is trending upwards, as their limited production and collectability has resulted in global interest.

This particular example has been finished in rare Mark II Black paint with Silver Stripes - this Ford GT looks as well as it performs.  Lifting the shell of this mid-engine performance machine unveils a 5.4L supercharged V8 engine producing 550 horsepower and 500 pound feet of torque.  This great engine is mated to a proper 6 speed manual.  The low profile and race oriented suspension has this Ford GT handling exceptionally well and massive brake rotors and calipers provide massive stopping power.  This Ford GT is fully optioned with equipment including Silver racing stripes, painted brake calipers and forged alloy wheels which added $13,500 to the MSRP.  This one owner car has only seen 1,303 miles and the Eagle F1 tires confirm the low millage.

This Ford GT is presented in a fantastic colour combination, features impressive performance  and yet is surprisingly practical.  Air conditioning, power windows and an audio system are on board, however most enthusiasts will agree that the sweet engine note is the only accompanying soundtrack needed.
