From the factory, the Z06 was a hardtop only model, however Caravaggio Corvettes has converted this Z06 into a stunning roadster. The chassis has been re enforced to maintain the structural integrity. The end result is a very professional, watertight targa roof, which has a value of $10,995.00 for the professional installation. The C6 has always turned heads from the incredible styling, however where some owners are left wanting more is in respect to the interior.

This interior has been treated to a full black leather with white stitching package. Formerly plastic trim areas such as the door panels, consoles and trim pieces have been overlayed with leather that feels soft yet very firm. The quality of the leather surfaces makes this Corvette feel like a high end European nameplate. The leather bucket seats are well bolstered and the custom leather steering wheel with matching white stitching is an immense improvement over the factory unit. At the centre is a high end audio and navigation unit which features an integrated backup camera. Audio has been done right with speaker wire, amplifier and subwoofer box. However the best soundtrack in our opinion is the one under the hood.

While the stock LS7 engine is no slouch at 505 HP, a Lingenfelter Performance 616 package has been installed on this Corvette. Performance tuning has been implemented through a Corsa high-flow exhaust, performance intake and more aggressive camshafts to increase power output to approximately 616 HP. The focus was not however to make this Z06 a track monster, unsuitable for the street. Instead the goal was a "daily drivable high performance vehicle." Having achieved this goal, the end result is a very desirable Corvette - perfect for cruising, having some fun on the racetrack and taking to local car shows.
