Superformance LLC is a specialty American automobile company that builds, designs, and imports sports cars and replicas. All Superformance cars are originally built at the Hi-Tech Automotive 270,000-square-foot plant in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, before they are disassembled for shipping. As "Replicars", all models sold by Superformance are complete factory manufactured "rollers", with suspension, rear differential, wiring and instrumentation. In this way each vehicle can have a stable "factory" build quality and also be personalized with the customer choosing the engine and transmission.

The Superformance MKIII is a replica of the third generation 427 Shelby Cobra (one of only a few Cobra replicas) built under license from Carroll Shelby Licensing Inc. The Sports Model of the Superformance MKIII came with the side pipes, quick lift jacks points, driver’s side roll bar and the unique sports model dash layout in black. These Superformance Cobras have great exterior and build features such as: show quality two-stage paint finishes on the hand laminated fiberglass body, heavy duty TIG welded ladder frame chassis, fully independent front and rear suspension, side / rear view mirrors, stainless steel roll bar, aluminum single core hi-performance radiator, disc brakes, rack and pinion steering, “Halibrand” style Knock-off wheels with 15” tires, Monza style locking gas filler cap and the original style side pipes and headers to accommodate Ford based V8 engine. Interior features include: the original style pedals, original style shifter and handbrake lever, leather seating surfaces / driver adjusts, original style gauges and switches, original style latch-lock seat belts, sun visors, wind wings and carpeted interior and trunk. Many enthusiasts believe the Superformance MKIII is so much better than its competitors because it looks like an exact replica, has a reputation for reliability, is sure-footed and is as exciting as the great sport roadsters of the sixties.

This Superformance Sports Model is true to the traditional roots of the Cobra legend beautifully finished in stunning Galaxy Blue with the traditional White Racing Stripes down the middle of the car. The exterior look is all about the famous side pipes stretching down the side of the car between the competition-style knock-off race wheels. Powered by a Ford Racing Performance 392 Crate Engine package that provides a strong 440HP and 474 lb-ft torque down to the Goodyear Eagle GT II tires. The Tremec 5-Speed manual transmission is smooth shifting and modern while the Black leather interior remains true to the era. This Cobra has some special additional optional equipment, as listed in the original Purchase Agreement, which include: the glove box, stainless steel quickjacks, silver ceramic coating on headers and pipes, polished stainless expansion tank, shoulder harness x 2, MSD ignition system with rev limiter, Eurolight Headlight System and front license plate holder. Naturally, the driving fun can certainly be measured in the great power-to-weight ratio of this Cobra.
