LMC is very proud to offer for sale this 2001 Ferrari 550 Maranello 

  Named for the displacement of 5.5 liters and its place of birth, the 550 Maranello was designed by Pininfarina as Ferrari’s long-awaited return to a front-engined, rear-wheel-drive, two-seater configuration. After 30 months of development, the Maranello replaced the famed Testarossa and burst upon the scene at the Nürburgring in July 1996. There it showcased its top speed of 199 mph and acceleration of 0–60 mph in a blistering 4.4 seconds. The V-12 power plant summons 480 hp at 7,000 rpm. The new Ferrari release was a firebrand, but production was restricted to only 3,083 cars between 1996 and 2002. When test-driven by Motor Trend against the Porsche Carrera 4, Dodge Viper, Chevrolet Corvette, and others, the 550 Maranello beat out all competitors with high-ranking marks in all objective and subjective categories.

  This superb original example was built at the famous Maranello factory in March of 2001.Dressed in Giallo Modena (Yellow) over a Nero (Black) leather interior, this 550 Maranello sports attractive features, such as the double gills on each flank, the instantly recognizable deep bonnet scoop, and the brushed steel six-speed gear shift fixture with matching race-ready perforated steel pedals. With fewer than 5,670 miles since new, this 550 Maranello still sports its protective film on the nose and is in factory-fresh as delivered condition with service records that make it clearly evident of the meticulous care by its previous owners. It still even sports the  original tires it left the factory with in 2001. It also comes complete with car cover, tools, air pump, books and manuals including: warranty card and owner’s service, alarm system, consumer information, hi-fi system warranty cars, owner’s manuals, flashlight and the beautiful leather pouch.
