Concept cars are well known for their ability to capture the hearts and minds of the public. With their elaborate designs and in many instances very creative engineering solutions they stand out from the crowd at each annual car show. The Plymouth Prowler was no exception; in 1993 the concept was revealed during the North American auto show in Detroit Michigan and made a lasting impression. With production in 1997 and 1999 - 2002 just over 11,700 units were produced including a few special editions making it a very sought after retro styled convertible. In 2001 Production ceased under the Plymouth name and was to be continued under Chrysler badging.

This particular example we have here is produced by Chrysler named after the famous Mulholland Drive in Los Angele and finished in a Midnight blue pearl with the added touch of a hand painted light blue pinstripe and paired with a blue top. Power is derived from the 3.5L V6 engine producing an impressive 253hp, paired to a four-speed autostick transmission and the lightweight of the Prowler makes for excellent performance and acceleration figures. If all of that wasn't enough this particular example has clearly been meticulously maintained and travelled a mere 3,831 miles. Not often are buyers presented with the opportunity to own factory built car with streetrod style that can stop onlookers in their tracks. Coupled with excellent performance and drive ability, this is one convertible not to be passed up on!
