1991 Pontiac Catalina Super Duty

LMC is very proud to offer for sale this 1991 Pontiac Firebird Firehawk.

Over the 50-year span of the Pontiac Firebird, over 2.5 million Firebirds were produced. The third generation were made from 1982-1992 and several special and limited editions were created over the decade. None were as special, or as limited however, as the Firebird Firehawk. Only 25 of these Firehawks would be produced from 1991-1992, and of them, only 11 of them would have a competition package. Pontiac would send a Firebird Formula to a company in Toms River, New Jersey called Street Legal Performance (SLP), who would make the Firebird become a Firehawk. SLP, now called Specialty Vehicle Engineering, would become quite significant in creating factory modified GM vehicles.

This 1991 Pontiac Firebird Firehawk is build number 003 by SLP. It was one of the lucky 11 to be blessed with the rare competition package which includes; a 6-point rollbar, Simpson 5-point racing harnesses, Recaro racing seats, four-piston Brembo front brake calipers, 13 inch crossed drilled rotors, and an aluminum hood. Its 350 V8 engine puts out 350HP and is delivered to the wheels by the SLP installed Corvette ZF Transmission. This enables this Firehawk to go from 0-60 in 4.6 seconds and do the quarter mile in just 13.2 seconds. This Firehawk has a remarkably low mileage of only 1,673 miles since it rolled out of SLP brand new in 1991. Its original red paint shows extremely well, and the original interior is like brand new. It is clear to see that this virtually new car has been meticulously maintained and taken care of for the last 25 years.

These Firehawks easily reign supreme in the Third Generation Muscle car era and are quite undervalued for how rare, and collectible they are, as well as the amount of performance they put out. These Firehawks very rarely come up for sale anywhere in the world and this is a very unique opportunity to own the greatest third generation sleeper.
