1988 Ferrari 328 GTS

LMC is proud to offer for sale this 1988 Ferrari 328 GTS.

  The Ferrari 328 was launched in 1985 as an improved variant of the Ferrari 308, which dated back to 1975. Among the changes was an increase in the displacement of the transversely-mounted 90* DOHC V8 engine, from 3.0 litres to 3.2 litres. The bump in displacement also gave the improved model its new name; 328 is shorthand for its 3.2 litre, 8-cylinder engine. The 328 is well-regarded among Ferrari enthusiasts for its reliability, durability, and ease of use relative to other Ferrari models.

  This example was sold new from Big Red Sports/Imports in Norman, Oklahoma. It is finished in classic FER 1240 Nero opaque paint over a VM8500 Nero leather interior, with matching Nero carpet and optional black leather dashboard. Like all 328s, it is powered by the Tipo F105CB engine generating 270 horsepower and 231 foot-pounds of torque. This high-winding mill is managed via a 5-speed manual transmission with the classic gated shifter for maximum precision. With only 36,275 miles on the clock and last major service completed May 28th 2018.  It has been meticulously cared for by its previous owners and comes with records for all services performed under each of their care. It also comes with Owner’s Warranty and Service Book, Owner’s Manual and Tools.  

  The 328 is one of the last true analog Ferrari’s built and have been highly underrated in the collector car world for a long time.
