1972 De Tomaso Pantera

The DeTomaso Pantera was introduced to the world as a 1971 model. It was a beautifully designed Italian car produced by Alejandro DeTomaso and was powered by Fords 351 "Cleveland" engine. Ford saw this as a great opportunity to have an increased presence in the mid-engined European sports car market and the resulting car was a beautifully crafted Italian Sports car with North American V8 horsepower, torque and reliability.

This 1972 model Pantera was built in Modena Italy in April of 1972 and then shipped to the United Statesto be sold. It would be one of only 244 produced in blue, the colour which is still shows in today.The car also features many desirable options including power windows, Campagnolo cast alloy wheels, four wheel disc brakes and even air conditioning.The 351 Cleveland engine fires up quickly and sounds terrific, delivering its power smoothly through the ZF Transaxle, both of which having been tastefully detailed and show very well when you remove the rear storage area.The black leather interior remains complete and in excellent condition.
