LMC is very proud to offer for sale this 1971 Ford Boss 351

  The 1971 Mustang Boss 351 followed on the success and performance heritage of the Boss 302 and Boss 429. Although physically larger than its predecessors, the Boss 351 didn’t take a back seat at all when it came to performance. Magazines of the day that put a Boss 351 through its paces posted 0-60 MPH times below 6 seconds and quarter-mile times in the high-13s. Those times put you in the upper echelon of the favorite muscle cars of the era.

  Still finished in its extremely rare original color combination of Raven Black paint with Black Clarion knit interior, this incredible BOSS 351 was sold new on April 21st 1971 at Harold Smith Ford located in Grundy, Virginia. The car was optioned with the power steering, power brakes, tinted glass, rear deck spoiler, AM radio, console, Magnum 500 wheels, all features it of course retains today!

  The car presents very well in its beautiful factory ordered Raven black paint that has been wet sanded and polished to a beautiful luster. The Black Clarion Knit interior with black dashboard and console in excellent condition and showing very nicely. Under the hood, is very nice and tidy highlighting the incredible numbers matching BOSS 351 engine backed by the 4-speed manual transmission. The car is of course documented with a deluxe report from Marti Auto Works and window sticker.

  This Boss 351 represents the last of the classic muscle cars - something that collectors, enthusiasts, and manufacturers have been searching to reconnect with. As the last year of the Boss Mustangs these are rare low production and arguably provide the nicest driving experience. This Black Boss will be an exciting find for the Blue Oval Boss enthusiasts.
