LMC is very proud to offer for sale this 1971 Dodge Demon

Among the most desirable A-body Mopars ever built, the 1971 Dodge Demon 340 stands out for its combination of lightweight chassis, high-revving small-block performance, and unmistakably bold styling. With just a single model year carrying the Demon 340’s full visual identity, well-restored examples are especially prized today. This particular Demon has undergone a complete, no-expense-spared rotisserie restoration to true show-quality standards, presenting as one of the finest Plum Crazy 340 cars available. Every surface, top to bottom, reflects meticulous craftsmanship, correct finishes, and an adherence to factory detail seldom seen on an A-body Mopar.

Finished in its factory delivered FC7 Plum Crazy Metallic, this Demon carries both the V6W white longitudinal and V8W white bumblebee transverse stripes, dramatically contrasting against the deep purple paint. Exterior trim is restored to concours levels, including M21 drip rail moldings, M43 grille trim, chrome exhaust tips (N42), and functional J45 hood tie-down pins. The undercarriage is equally impressive, detailed with correct markings, coatings, and finishes consistent with a proper rotisserie restoration.

Under the hood is the car’s numbers-matching E55 340ci 4-barrel V8, that appears factory fresh with correct hardware, hoses, and detailing. This Demon is equipped with a four-speed manual transmission, delivering the driver-focused engagement and performance that made small-block Mopars so rewarding on the road.

Inside, the restored cabin features White Vinyl Bucket Seats, C16 woodgrain console all finished to showroom quality. Additional equipment includes C55 bucket seats, R11 solid-state AM radio, and refinished gauges, switches, and trim throughout.

This Demon is well documented, retaining both its factory broadcast sheet and fender tag. With its numbers-matching 340, four-speed manual transmission, correct as delivered Plum Crazy finish, white stripe package, show-quality rotisserie restoration, and original documentation, this Demon represents peak desirability for collectors and Mopar enthusiasts alike.
