Rare Factory Ram Air IV 4 Speed

In 1969 Pontiac introduced "The Judge", a package which could be added to your GTO giving it some extra appearance to go with the already impressive performance. The name Judge would become a legend synonymous with GTO and Pontiac and also provided fantastic marketing possibilities.

Presented here is a 1970 model Pontiac GTO finished in its factory correct colours of Polar white with Red bucket interior. The Judge package gives the car a great look with the striping and Ram Air hood, but it is what lies under that hood that makes this car truly special, the Legendary Ram Air IV, 400 with Muncie M21 transmission. Grossly under rated at 370hp, the Ram Air IV was one of the most potent street motors of the time. Only 325 hardtop GTO Judges would be produced in 1970 with a Ram Air IV option and the 4 speed transmission. In addition to the rare engine, this car also features power steering, power brakes, bucket seats with console, factory tach and much more. Being such a rare and desirable Pontiac, it certainly deserved the complete frame off restoration. As such the car shows beautifully from top to bottom. The paint has been polished to a show finish, interior restored to as new condition and the undercarriage properly detailed.  Of course it is documented with complete paperwork provided by PHS automotive services detailing the way it was sold new at Victor Motors.
