When the Barracuda was initially released in 1964, it was a small coupe based on the A body Valiant, with hopes of competing with the newly released Ford Mustang. It never caught on as the Mustang did, for many reasons. When a major redesign was done for the 1970 model year, everything changed. The new E-body Plymouth turned out to be one of the most striking eye catching cars of the muscle car era. For many reasons, all known far too well by muscle car enthusiasts, the model only last 4 more years until 1974, but partially because of this, the E-body 'Cudas and Challengers are some of the most sought after collector cars in the world.

This very desirable track pak equipped 1970 Plymouth 'Cuda is powered by a numbers matching "V" code 440 6bbl engine with 4 speed pistol grip transmission and of course the Dana rear axle with 3.54 gears. Prior to beginning the complete nut and bolt rotisserie restoration and in the quest for perfection, the previous owner elected to utilize a replacement rust free body as his platform to ensure the highest quality finished product. The results certainly speak for themselves. The factory correct Alpine White paint shows beautifully and has been fully polished to a show quality finish. The beautifully restored black high back bucket seat interior is in as-new condition. The options on the car include the previously mentioned "V" code engine, 4 speed, track pak, Rallye instrument cluster, factory tach, hood tie downs, quarter panel stripe, chrome dual exhaust tips, music master radio and of course the N96 "Shaker" hood scoop.
