1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1

For 1970 Ford made some minor cosmetic changes to the Mustang. In cleaning up the look there were now only two headlights in place of the four in 1969; the scoops on the quarter panels were removed and the Mach 1 black out hood was gone in favour of a stripe up the center. Fortunately the drivetrains remains largely the same and the popular Mach 1 model was still available for those seeking performance.

Presented here is a 1970 Mustang Mach 1 in the very rare and very unique factory colour of Pastel Blue. The car was initially built on July 28^th 1969 at the Metuchen assembly plant before being sold new September 19^th. Factory equipped with the Mach 1 package it of course has the 351 Windsor engine and is also factory optioned with power steering, power disc brakes and automatic transmission. Upon close inspection it becomes very apparent how well this car has been maintained since new, the body remains original and in excellent condition. The factory spot welds can be seen throughout, panels are straight and the gaps a true indication of how the factory produced the cars when new. The unique Pastel Blue paint has recently been freshened with base/clear, fully polished to show beautifully. The matching blue interior works well with the light exterior colour and remains in excellent original condition as well. The 351 Cleveland engine has been detailed from the manifolds to the air breather. This Mach 1 is of course fully documented with a Deluxe Marti Report showcasing how, when and where it left the factory when new. An excellent car to be driven and enjoyed while garnering lots of attention.
