Original Factory Applied Calypso Coral Paint!

The market for original cars has been expanding in recent years. The reality that there are fewer and fewer original cars remaining is beginning to show the true value in a beautifully maintained and unmolested car. They are the sole representatives to how the cars were truly built back in the day, not a representation of what a restorer believes was done. There is also a special to feel to a true original car, a feel that can't be accurately described and yet is unmistakable at the same time. The cars have a tight feeling throughout the steering, suspension and body which can not be properly replicated during a restoration. For the purists, they really are only original once.

This very special 1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1 was ordered from the Dearborn Michigan factory October 22, 1969 and a little over a month later it was delivered to its new owner. It was this fortunate individual who would actually retain the car for 37 years, not selling the car until July of 2007. Given this exceptional owner history it is not surprising how well preserved and maintained the car is today. The original factory applied Calypso Coral paint remains incredibly well preserved with very little patina visible throughout serving as reminders of the miles covered and memories made. The original Vermillion Red interior also remains in the car and still in excellent condition with not so much as a major rip or tear to speak of. Open the factory shaker hood and you will find the numbers matching 351 Cleveland sitting under the factory installed ram air scoop which has all been tastefully detailed. The car remains original and correct right down to the functioning rim-blow steering wheel and factory wheels. Of course the car comes completely documented including Deluxe Marti Report, original build sheet carefully removed from the car, original owners manual, copies of title renewal slips and even a copy of the original title complete with all renewal stamps from 1970 through 2007.
