  Introduced for one year only, the 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A was Dodge’s entry into the SCCA Trans Am racing series and remains one of the most iconic muscle cars of the era. Built to homologate Dodge’s factory race effort, the Challenger T/A combined aggressive styling, race-bred engineering, and street-ready performance. Distinguishing features included the 340 Six Pack engine, unique fiberglass hood with functional air scoop, side-exit exhaust, Rallye suspension, and bold graphics that captured the competitive spirit of the Trans Am series. Only a limited number were built, making surviving, well-documented cars highly collectible today.

  This particular Challenger T/A has been the subject of a meticulous rotisserie restoration finished in its original High Impact “Go Mango” color.  Rarely do cars of this quality come to market. The quality of this restoration is outstanding, with incredible paint work, trim, interior as well as a detailed undercarriage reflective of the same quality as the top side. Under the fiberglass N94 hood lies a 340 Six Pack V8, paired with a 4-speed manual transmission and Pistol Grip shifter, sending power through an optional 3.91 Drag Pak rear end for exceptional performance. Additional factory equipment includes Rallye suspension, Polyglas tires, black vinyl top, and painted remote mirrors. It is documented with two original broadcast sheets, Galen Govier fender tag decode and is listed in the Chrysler Registry as No. 677 of 977 recorded examples.
