  Various manufacturers racing programs resulted some of the most impressive and desirable street cars of the muscle car era. The Trans Am series in particular created some of the most brands synonymous with performance, BOSS 302, the Camaro Z/28 and the MOPAR twins, AAR Cuda and Challenger T/A.

  Beautifully restored in its factory livery of Dark Green Metallic paint with black T/A specific side striping and matching interior, this absolutely stunning Challenger T/A is a true example of what Trans Am racing did for the street car consumer!! As this car shows, when selecting the T/A option on the Challenger, you were selection a bevy of performance features from special suspension including larger sway bars front and rear, front power disc brakes, side exit exhaust, fresh air intake, with the centerpiece of the package being the 6 Pack equipped 340 cubic inch small block, in this case backed by a 4 speed with Pistol Grip Hurst shifter. But also as we know, especially with MOPAR’s, it was almost as much about the visual impact as it was performance, all T/A’s came with full fiberglass hoods with a massive air intake scoop, 15 x 7” Rallye wheels with polished trim rings, E60 x 15” Goodyear Polyglas GT tires and special longitudinal sport stripes down either side of the car in black. This particular T/A also features extra options such as bucket seats with center console around the Pistol Grip shifter, fast ratio power steering and the T/A rear ducktail spoiler. Having gone through a complete rotisserie restoration, this Challenger still shows beautifully and is complete with  a numbers matching 340/6 pack engine and numbers matching 4 speed transmission. After restoration has even claimed awards at various shows including the Willistead Classic Concours d’Elegance. A beautifully restored Challenger T/A, a great example of the race inspired street cars that helped make the muscle car era so memorable.

  Rotisserie restored in its factory livery of Dark Green Metallic paint with black T/A specific side striping, this Challenger T/A features a numbers matching motor, transmission and rare quick ratio power steering option.
