1970 AMC AMX 360 4 Speed
Black/Black 360 4 Speed
1970 marked the last year AMC would campaign the AMX name as a separate model, later being just added as a package on the Javelin. For this final year as a model, a mere 4,106AMX's were produced, making it the lowest production AMX model. The name stood for American Motors Experimental and the cars were certainly unique.
This 1970 AMX is finished in the desirable livery of classic black with black interior and the look is completed with Magnum style wheels with Redline tires. Underneath the hood scoop is the correct "P" code 360 cubic inch engine rated at 290 hp with a 4 speed manual transmission. The car is also optioned with power steering, factory tach and AM/FM radio. This very cool AMX has benefited from a previous restoration and most recently a complete mechanical service here at LMC to ensure the car runs strong. This AMX represents an opportunity to acquire something special and unique. This is a car which will almost certainly be the only representative at the local car show or cruise night, and one that has been tastefully restored and it ready to go.
