These were the fastest Shelby Mustang offered at the time, purpose-built for maximum performance with brutal acceleration and durability to dominate both the street and the strip.
This example offered here for sale was built on May 23rd, 1969 and delivered new to B J Werner Ford in Garfield, New Jersey. Order new in Grabber Blue paint, complemented by a black Clarion knit bucket seat interior, presenting the quintessential Shelby muscle car look. Under the hood resides the numbers-matching 428ci Super Cobra Jet Ram Air V8, backed by the numbers matching four-speed manual transmission. As part of the Drag Pack option, this GT500 is equipped with the 3.91 Traction-Lok axle ratio, ensuring maximum performance and acceleration.
