  The 1969 – 1970 Shelby Mustang represents the evolution for both Shelby and Ford. By 1969 the production Mustang was redesigned as a larger, more luxurious model. Ford made many special models that directly competed with Shelby upgraded cars. Up to this time Ford had always had a good relationship with Carroll Shelby and allowed his team to have significant input in the styling and option packages. That balance changed in 1969 prompting Shelby to terminate his relationship with Ford. 

  This Shelby was factory delivered to Fogg Motors Ltd. and sold to its original owner on May 9th, 1969. Finished in the beautiful Acapulco Blue complemented by a white tape stripe, this Shelby looks stunning. Inside the cockpit, is a Black Knit Vinyl interior with a Sport Deck rear seat. Under the hood, is the numbers matching 351-4v engine backed by the desirable optional 4-speed manual transmission. The rear end was optioned with a 3.25 Traction-Lok rear axle which allowed this Shelby to have great street driving manners. Other factory options include power steering, power brakes, deluxe belts, heavy duty battery, visibility group and AM/FM radio. During the restoration process it was decided by the owner to use a new solid body as his platform. Prospective buyers will certainly appreciate a quality restoration that includes beautiful high gloss paint, detailed engine bay and reconditioned interior complete with the mandatory Shelby appointments.
