Rotisserie Restored, Documented T/A

Pontiac entered the "Pony Car" world in 1967 with the introduction of the Firebird and by 1969 they had come up with the optional Trans Am package.  Only 689 Pontiac Trans Am coupes were produced that year which was also the final year for the first generation Firebird making these T/A both rare and very desirable. All first generation T/A's were finished in Cameo White with Blue striping over the Ram Air hood.

The story of this beautiful 1969 Pontiac Trans Am begins when it left the Norwood assembly plant destined for Delmar Haynes Pontiac in Maryville Tennessee where it would quickly be sold on July 16 1969. The proud owners had driven from North Carolina just for the opportunity to acquire the Trans Am. They would retain the car for several years of enjoyment before it would be traded back to the original selling dealer where the owners son would see the how special this first generation T/A is and hold on to it. From there the car would ultimately end up in the hands of its third owner who would begin the complete rotisserie restoration. Today the car shows beautifully from top to bottom with a fully restored undercarriage detailed suspension and the detail continues throughout including the RAIII engine, Rally II wheels, polished paint and fully restored interior. With its history known since new, original owners Protect-O-Plate and of course PHS documentation showing this as one of the rare factory Trans Am cars, this is a special example which has the provenance and quality to be a valued addition to ones collection.
