  The 1969 Plymouth Road Runner is an iconic muscle car from the late 1960s created to appeal to the performance-driven buyer while keeping costs relatively low. With 1969 being such an important year for the cartoon-themed muscle car, no holds were barred when one ordered the 426 Hemi V-8 engine. Under the N96 Air Grabber hood, the Hemi needs little introduction. It was forged in pursuit of NASCAR dominance and placed on the street as the ultimate powerplant.

  This 1969 Plymouth Road Runner offered here is one of only 13 examples ordered new with the legendary 426ci HEMI engine, D21 four-speed manual transmission and the A33 Track Pak 3.54 (Dana 60).To take the rarity even further, this example is the only one known to be ordered new in special code 99 Bahama Yellow/Black vinyl bench seat interior. Not only is this example desirable based on its rarity, it also remains in extremely original condition having never undergone a complete restoration. From new it has been preserved in excellent condition with its major mechanical components intact, including its numbers matching Hemi engine and transmission.
