Everyone knows the famous story of the BOSS 429, Ford's desire to win at NASCAR and homologation rules forcing them to drop their new BOSS 429 motor into a production car. With Kar Kraft working at producing these cars, they have retained a reputation and high standard of being one of the pinnacles of Mustang & Ford Performance. And with only a 2 year production run of 859 in '69 and even less for 1970, they are among the rarest, most sought after Mustangs on the planet.

Built on March 14 of 1969, this beautiful Wimbledon White BOSS 429 quickly found a home and was sold on April 1st through Foulger Ford in Monrovia California. Just as was the case with all BOSS 429's, the car is nicely equipped with close ratio 4 speed Toploader transmission, 3.91 ratio traction lok rear axle, power front disc brakes, power steering, competition suspension, color keyed mirrors and of course the legendary 429 cubic in BOSS motor. A thorough inspection of this car today reveals the benefits of having spent its entire life in the favourable California climate. Although having benefited from a freshening of the Wimbledon White paint, the body remains incredibly original and complete with factory spot welds visible throughout, original date stamps on the body panels and a nice original undercarriage. The BOSS 429 is complete with its correct emission control system and all other rare/unique BOSS components. The view from the driver's seat of this car, looking out over the massive and functional ram air engine hood is unlike any other.
