LMC is very proud to offer for sale this 1969 Dodge Super 440 Six Pack

Widely recognized as arguably the finest unrestored Super Bee A12 in existence, this incredible 1969 Dodge Super Bee 440 Six Pack has earned the prestigious Survivor Collector Car ZZenith Award for maintaining more than 90% of its factory-new originality. Showing just 23,000 original miles, this time-capsule example remains unrestored and preserved in remarkable original condition, retaining its factory-original paint, drivetrain, interior, exhaust, wheels, and tires—a level of authenticity virtually unheard of today.

Finished in Butterscotch with the Black Bumblebee stripe, this Super Bee is powered by its matching-numbers 440 Six Pack engine paired with a Torqueflite 3-speed automatic transmission and a factory 4.10 Dana 60 rear end. It remains accompanied by its original broadcast sheet, dealer invoice, owner’s manual, and Chrysler Registry inspection, further affirming its authenticity and provenance.

Originally sold new at Dodge City in Denver, Colorado, the car’s first owner, Howard Lee, drove it sparingly through the 1970s before storing it for over three decades—using it to house his firearms collection while ensuring it remained meticulously preserved. Following Lee’s passing in 2005, Colorado collector Mark Wilson acquired the Super Bee and entrusted it to Gary Riley of Level One Restorations in Arvada, Colorado, for a careful, non-invasive detailing to preserve its untouched originality.

As featured in Muscle Car Enthusiast Magazine, which described it as “arguably the finest unrestored car of its type in existence,” this Super Bee stands as an extraordinary survivor from the golden age of American muscle. Its preservation extends to every detail—from assembly-line paint markings, paper tags, and labels to its original exhaust system, shocks, wheels, and even the unused spare tire.

The ZZenith Award committee summarized it best:

“This degree of preservation is extraordinarily high and unlikely among most unrestored original vehicles over 40 years old. This represents the high point in automotive preservation.”
