With its factory-installed L72 427/425 hp big-block, heavy-duty drivetrain, and understated Cortez Silver styling, this rare COPO-package Chevelle stands among the most desirable Chevrolet performance cars ever built. Further elevated by long-term original ownership and outstanding provenance, it is an investment-grade example of a true GM factory hot rod.

  Finished in its factory-correct Code 69 Cortez Silver over Code 755 black vinyl bucket-seat interior, this Chevelle retains its certified original numbers-matching L72 427ci/425 hp engine backed by the original numbers-matching M20 four-speed transmission. Power front disc brakes, the G84 4.10  “KQ” rear axle (427 COPO only), and G80 Positraction differential complete the COPO-specified heavy-duty drivetrain engineered to handle the immense output of the solid-lifter big block.
