For 1969, Camaro had all-new sheet metal except the hood and trunk lid giving the car a substantially sportier look. The grille was redesigned with a heavy ‘V’-cant and deeply inset headlights. New door skins, rear quarter panels, and rear valance panel also gave the car a much lower, wider, more aggressive look. 

  The Super Sport or SS performance package provided the big block V8 engine and chassis upgrades for better handling, special striping, and SS badging. The styling, considered by many Camaro enthusiasts as the ultimate muscle car look, would serve for the 1969 model year only. The combination of sexy styling and pavement-pounding big block power has proved to be timelessly popular. Even current GM designers agree as the design became the inspiration for the retro fifth-generation Camaro.

 This nicely rotisserie restored 1969 Camaro SS was built in the Norwood, Ohio plant and shipped February 25th,1969 to the original selling dealer. Specified with the highly desired Code 71, Lemans Blue exterior paint and trim Code 727, Ivory/Black Interior. Lifting the functional air breathing hood will reveal a big block L34 396/350 HP Turbo Jet power plant which resides in an engine bay that is clean and well detailed. Rarer still, it is equipped with a M21 four speed manual transmission which is a great engine combination. The undercarriage has been finished in the correct shade of satin black and is nicely detailed. Inside, the bucket seats with separate headrests are in excellent condition. The full length console is fitted with a Hurst shifter. As per the GM of Canada documents this one also came factory with J50 power disc brakes, D80 rear-deck spoiler, F62 front spoiler and U63 push button radio. 

  Without a doubt, the 1969 Camaro SS is a muscle car in its purest and most attractive form, and this Camaro presents extremely well inside and out. Coupled with the 396 big block and options, make it a very collectible and sought-after muscle car.
