There are many different reasons for enthusiasts and collectors to restore a car. For many, the purpose might be to make it is as accurate to the day it rolled off the assembly line as possible and to then showcase the car at shows and judging events while rarely, if ever driving the car. Others prefer to restore the cars to a level that enables them to drive, enjoy and cruise as they feel the cars were intended to be used. This beautiful 1969 Camaro RS/SS 396 convertible has been beautifully restored in the desirable colour of Garnet red with a matching red interior and a black convertible soft top. Open up the cowl induction hood and you will find a 396 big block rated at 350hp, tastefully detailed from the correct exhaust manifolds to the intake. You will also notice that this car is equipped with many desirable features such as both power steering and power brakes. The previously mentioned Garnet Red paint along with the accompanying black "hockey" stripe has been polished to a stunning finish throughout. The Rally Sport package gives the car a great look sitting on the rally wheels with correct Goodyear Polyglas tires. The red interior is equipped with front bucket seats and of course center console with console gauges. Overall a great car with tremendous value, especially when taking into consideration the time and effort to produce such a great driving and nicely restored Camaro convertible.
