  The 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS (Rally Sport) is one of the most recognizable muscle cars of all time known for its aggressive styling, performance options, and distinctive hideaway headlights, the RS package added an extra layer of sophistication to the already legendary Camaro lineup. The Rally Sport package (RPO Z22) was an appearance upgrade that included concealed headlamps, revised tail lights with backup lights below the bumper, special grille and trim, and unique badging. 

  This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS offered here for sale is an unbelievable survivor, retaining its original factory paint, interior, numbers matching engine accompanied by incredible documentation which is all a testament to its well-preserved history. Sold new at Don Steves Chevrolet in La Habra, California to its original owner for a final price of $3,619. Optional equipment included soft ray tinted glass, head restraints, floor mats, air conditioning, console, power steering, AM radio, rally sport and E70x14 tires. 

  Finished in its authentic factory color code 55 Azure Turquoise, this example this Camaro retains its original factory applied paint and was awarded Legends Certification and best original paint at the A.C.A Camaro Nationals. From new it has only accumulated a mere 29,974 miles and has been owned by some very prominent collectors. Under the hood, this Camaro RS features a matching-numbers 327ci Turbo-Fire engine backed by the optional three-speed automatic transmission delivering the performance that made these muscle cars legendary. The interior remains in excellent condition, maintaining its original upholstery, dash, and trim, showcasing the originality of this special Rally Sport.

  The documentation accompanying this special Camaro is impressive and a testament to the care taken by previous ownership. Some of the items include the window sticker, bill of sale with salemens card stapled to the top, pre-delivery checklist, Protect-O-Plate, owners manual, finance agreement, judging sheets and more! It was also featured in Muscle Car Review Magazine where it describes the incredible original condition of this survivor.
