No Expense Spared LMC Restored Shelby GT-350

For the 1967 model year, Ford did its first major restyling of the wildly popular Mustang. This also meant that the very successfulShelbymodels would also get an upgrade. The cars gained a little size and weight, but also a much more aggressive appearance, once Shelby America got its hands on it, the resulting car featured impressive performance and racing pedigree that pushed the Shelby GT-350 name further into the Mustang history books.

This absolutely stunning 1967 Shelby GT-350 was initially built06/15/1967, shipped the very next day to McCarthy Ford in Pleasantville NewJersey. Nicely equipped with all the Shelby GT-350 modifications, it also came with many factory options such as the extra cooling package, fold down rear seat, power steering, power front disc brakes, tach and much more. Over the next 35 years, the car would be kept and maintained, being treated custom paint before being semi retired to a barn in New Jersey. In 2005, the car was located while being offered for sale at a swap meet. After a laborious 5 hour job simply to remove the car from the barn it called home for many years, the complete car including K-code Hi-Po 289 and 4 speed transmission was taken to Legendary Motorcar where a complete ground up no expense spared restoration was performed. Over the course of many months, the car was restored back to its original glory, all options and features were restored correctly, as well as the addition of a Shelby/Paxton Supercharger to give the GT-350 a little more get up and go. With thousands of hours put towards the restoration, the end result speaks for itself. This car shows absolutely beautifully from top to bottom and comes complete with a photo diary of the restoration, photos of the car "as discovered", and photos of the first restoration/repaint, complete Marti Report, all in addition to being documented in the Shelby registry.
