  The 1967 model year Mustang was the first redesign of the original model. Ford's designers began drawing up a larger version even as the original was achieving sales success. The major mechanical feature was to allow the installation of a big-block V8 engine. The overall size, interior and cargo space were increased. Exterior trim changes included concave tail lights, side scoops, square rear-view mirrors, and usual yearly wheel and gas cap changes. These exterior changes created one of the most attractive Mustang body styles ever produced and among the most desirable. As the 1967 Mustang fastback is already great looking in stock form, it can only be improved upon with small custom touches.

  This 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback offered is a great example of tasteful modifications that increase the overall appearance and driving experience of the base car. Starting with a very solid body, this car was stripped to bare metal and repainted in a custom dark green paint. Although the paint was done years ago, it still has a beautiful luster and shows very well.

  The car started life as a 289ci C-Code and since the engine rebuilt with high performance components. The engine block was bored to 302ci and fitted with forged pistons, an Edelbrock Performer RPM camshaft, ported cylinder heads, Edelbrock intake manifold and much more. Finishing off the rebuilt engine is a Holley Sniper Fuel Injection system that allows the engine to run smoother with increased drivability, gas mileage, throttle response and easier startups.  This is backed by a four-speed manual transmission and 9 inch differential with Richmond 3.89 gears.

  The suspension has been rebuilt and upgraded with 1inch Shelby front sway bar, 600 lb/inch Shelby front springs, Ford competition rear leaf springs and KYB shocks. Braking duties are handled by OEM-style power disc brakes in the front and drums in the rear. To finish off the performance and looks are a set off custom Ridler 17inch wheels with modern radial tires.
