This 1966 C10 custom cab truck started life as a short wheel base model with V8 with AC and sold new in Fredericksburg Texas . It was later restored and modified to its current configuration starting with its original 327 engine and adding to that a 700R4 automatic overdrive transmission. The professionally built engine is fully balanced and equipped with Corvette cylinder heads, aluminum intake manifold and Holley Carburetor breathing through performance headers and a polished Magnaflow exhaust system with X pipe. The strong running engine is dressed to resemble the 350HP Corvette engine of the day and not only looks but also sounds the part. Braking is provided by Power assisted 4 wheel disc brakes with drilled rotors. Handling is enhanced Power steering with front and rear sway bars and the original heavy duty 12 bolt rear differential. The beautiful fully restored body is painted in stunning BMW Artic Silver with tasteful red accented stainless steel side moldings sporting Corvette crossed flag logos. The short bed is equipped with cabinet grade hickory wood with polished stainless steel retainer stripes for added appeal. The interior was kept stock looking with professionally done, pleated bench seat and upgraded instrument cluster. The gleaming chrome bumpers and accents are set off by the Coy's C5 custom rims with 18 front and 20 rears equipped with performance low profile radials.
