1965 Shelby 427 Cobra

The Shelby Cobra is arguably one of the world's most famous and recognizable sports cars in history.  With only 29 Original 427 S/C (Semi-Competition) Cobras in existence, these have become cherished by collectors and have subsequently become multi-million dollar cars, out of reach for most enthusiasts. 

In the late 1990’s , Shelby created the CSX4000 Series 427 S/C Cobras which are everything the original models were, and more. The authenticity of each vehicle is documented by Shelby CSX numbers and a manufacturer's Statement of Origin (MSO) from Shelby Automobiles signed by Carroll Shelby himself. 

This CSX 4000 Cobra offered here for sale has been one collector owned until recently with only a mere 455 miles from new. Attractively finished in Guardsmen Blue which is one of the most iconic colors for any Cobra. This is complemented by a black leather interior finished with correct style gauges and shifter. The power comes from a Shelby built all aluminum 427ci FE engine producing 550hp through a traditional four speed manual transmission. Exhaust exits through a pair of powder coated side pipes which sound incredible all the way from idle to full throttle. A set of correct style Halibrand wheels with new Goodyear Billboard tires not only look the part but are capable of handling the performance of that 427ci!
