The CSX4000 series Cobras are produced with Shelby American and are certainly the closest to an original CSX3000 series you will find. Styled after the infamous 427 S/C Cobras, these continuation cars are equipped with side pipes and S/C roll bar. The cars use original style chassis which have been strengthened while also taking advantage of some modern upgrades which enhance the cars safety and performance such as Baer Brakes all around.

This eye catching 427 S/C Cobra is a CSX4000 series fiberglass body car finished in Viking Blue with White LeMans stripes. Equipped with 15x7.5” front and 15x9.5” rear wheels shod with Goodyear tires, this car has got a perfect look with all the right proportions giving it a feel of authenticity. It is outfitted with a black interior which includes leather seats, open top side door pockets, and authentic Shelby gauges. Open the hood and you will find a Ford 427 cast iron side oiler FE engine rebuilt to original 1965 Shelby engine specs with aluminum heads, intake, water pump and valve covers purchased from Shelby, Aviad oil pan and Holley 750 cfm double pumper vacuum secondary carburetor. Additional engine upgrades include MSD Pro-Billet Ford FE distributor 8594, coil, and 6AL ignition and Tilton super starter. This is backed by 4-speed manual Toploader transmission paired with a Lakewood bellhousing and Centerforce clutch assembly.  As soon as you fire it up, the car instantly makes all the right noises to bring you right back to 1965. The side-mount exhaust barks with an almost intoxicating sound, one of the great aspects of driving a 427 Cobra to be enjoyed and has made them so famous.

Since the build was completed this Cobra has seen only 4812 miles of light use while being meticulously maintained by an avid collector.
