1965 brought a few changes to Americas Sports Car. From a cosmetic standpoint there were minor changes to the already beautiful C2 bodystyle in the form of three vertical side vents, but the major changes were on the mechanical side. New versions of the 327 in a wide range of power outputs, availability of a big block but most notable was the new for '65 four wheel disc brakes on all models (unless otherwise optioned). This significantly improved drivability and today really makes the 65-67 model mid-years stand out from their predecessors.

This 1965 Corvette Roadster rolled off the assembly line in mid March of 1965 in Milano Maroon with a rare maroon interior, just as it remains today. Equipped with the numbers matching 327 engine and numbers matching 4 speed transmission, this car also features a few desirable options such as power windows and side mount exhaust. Equipped with proper "spinner" hubcaps and Goldline tires, this car has a great period correct look. Being a desirable 1965 model the car of course has four wheel disc brakes helping to make it a pleasurable car to drive, a task made that much more exciting by the sound of the 327 coming from the side exhaust.
