  The 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Split Window has always been an iconic great American automotive styling and desired by many collectors. While they are beautiful to look at, they don’t compare in performance with today’s modern sports cars.  Today with the availability of technology and build methods, hot rodders can add modern performance, convenience and reliability within the classic shape of this Corvette.

  Starting with a red powder-coated, custom-built tubular chassis, the front suspension and rear suspension from a C5/C6 meticulously fitted. A contemporary all-aluminum Chevrolet 6.2L LS3 V-8 engine with electronic fuel injection producing 525 HP and a Tremec 6-speed manual transmission complete the drivetrain. A power rack and pinion style steering system offers great handling and steering response with nice steering weight. Braking is supplied by a Wilwood master cylinder and C5 power disc brake system with 4-piston calipers in front and 4-piston calipers in the rear. A staggered set of Corvette Grand Sport alloy wheels measuring 19-inch in the rear wrapped in Goodyear F1 Performance 325/30/19 tires and 18-inch in the front with 275/35/18 tires provide the contact patch.

  Cosmetically this Split Window is far better than any example leaving the factory in 1963. This iconic Split Window restomod is finished in a stunning Charcoal Metallic paint complemented by the classic chrome rocker trim and bumpers. The interior is equally impressive with the usage of quality red leather, alcantara carpet and headliner, vintage air conditioning, custom gauges and power windows.
