1960 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce

LMC is very proud to offer for sale this 1960 Alfa Romeo Guiletta Spider Veloce 750F 

 The Alfa Romeo Giulietta was a compact automobile manufactured by Alfa Romeo between 1954 to 1965. The Giulietta was introduced at the Turin Motor Show in 1954 and were built in the Portello factory in Milan. The Giulietta used an Alfa Romeo Twin Cam engine displacing 1,290cc with a light alloy cylinder block and an alloy cylinder head with twin overhead camshafts. The Sprint coupe was joined shortly afterwards by the berlina and spider versions, the latter styled by Pininfarina and built on a slightly shorter wheelbase.

  The Giulietta model’s success surprised even Alfa Romeo themselves as production targets were moved upwards. The combination of a rev-happy engine, fine handling, responsive chassis, and excellent brakes made the Giulietta a driver’s car par excellence and explains why these stylish spiders continue to attract discerning enthusiasts. 

  This factory documented Giulietta Spider Veloce continues that legacy, offering beautiful Italian design with open-air driving pleasure. As per factory records, it was delivered May 19th 1961 to the USA market.  This beautiful Spider is offered in Rosso Alfa over a Black leather interior in full Veloce trim. The car was very nicely restored by a Ferrari/Maserati dealership including engine, body and paint, interior, brakes and suspension.  The 15″ Borrani wheels were mounted with Michelin XM radial tires. A matching spare wheel is located behind the seats with a jack.  It is equipped with its number matching Veloce engine as documented by the Alfa Romeo factory from their "Classic" department. 

  This Alfa Romeo presents extremely well, with both the interior and exterior in very nicely restored condition. Alfistas will recognize this Spider Veloce as an exceptional example, ideal for concours presentation as well as a thrilling ride in vintage driving events.
