Frame off Restored 50's Cruiser

The '57 Chevy is probably the most easily recognized Chevrolet ever produced. With its distinctive rocket inspired twin hood ornaments and chrome and stainless steel framed rear tail fins, its looks are unmistakable. While the 1957 Ford actually outsold Chevrolet, but the Belair has been called 'the most popular used car in history.' That's staying power. With its 'baby Cadillac' style and powerful V-8 engine options, the 1957 really was to quote a Chevy ad of the day - 'sweet, smooth and sassy.'

This beautiful frame off restored Bel Air convertible is finished in Sierra Gold with complimentary beige interior with parchment inserts accented perfectly by the white convertible top. It is powered by the 283 'Power Pack' engine and optioned with automatic transmission, dual exhaust, power steering and power operated soft top. This Bel Air shows beautifully all over, which is a testament to the detail put into the restoration. The engine bay is properly detailed, the important 50's chrome pieces and brightwork shows clear, the interior trim and upholstery is in excellent restored condition including the dash and gauges, the paint is polished to a show finish and even the undercarriage shows its proper red primer with black painted chassis.
