Chevrolet had a very successful year in 1957, managing to outsell its arch rival Ford with a highly developed model line that remains, in the eyes of many observers, among the most appealing postwar automobiles.  The very desirable Bel Air series is now sought after by collectors, enthusiasts and even hot rodders.

Legendary Motorcar is proud to present perhaps the lowest Mileage 57 Bel Air known to exist.  Less than 2,200 original miles have been put on the car since being purchased new out of Pierz, Minnesota.  Naturally with being such a well cared for vehicle, this Bel Air had no problems earning a 900 score when shown in the factory original class.  Everything from the spiral shocks to the numbers matching engine is authentic and even the original delivery paper covers remain on the sunvisors.  The exterior sports the original Harbour Blue paint with the classic Polo White roof creating the desirable retro look.  Chrome tastefully accents the sedan and perfectly captures the 1950s time period with styling cues such as the pronounced tail fins.  Inside, the original interior is in pristine condition which is no surprise.  This Bel Air received the tried and true Turbo Fire 265 cubic inch V8 from the factory, mated to a three speed Synchro-Mesh manual transmission.  Advertised as "Glide-Ride" front suspension, and the Bel Air has a solid reputation for having a smooth ride.
