1957 Chevrolet 3100 Pickup

LMC is very proud to offer for sale this 1957 Chevrolet 3100

  For the 1957 model year, a number of visual changes were made to the popular Chevrolet 1/2-ton pickup. In order to provide a much needed facelift to its line of Advance Design trucks, the GM Division had a young designer named Chuck Jordan work up a new concept, boldly called the “Task Force.” This 1957 Half-Ton Task Force Pickup is from the third season of the design. Carrying 1957’s new, bolder grille in its chrome version, it has the subtle white accent on the rear cab corners and the jaunty high-mounted spare on the left rear fender.

  This 1957 Chevrolet 3100 offered for sale has been completely restored, finished in Ocean Green with a White accent on the upper Cab. The interior has been refinished with a white vinyl seat, dash and black dash pad. This nicely presented Chevrolet runs with the Thriftmaster 235-cid inline six-cylinder engine connected to a column-shift manual transmission. Among the equipment is a side-mounted spare on the driver’s side, finished wood bed floor with stainless retaining strips, color-keyed steel wheels, factory hubcaps and whitewall tires. Like most pickups of its era, it is not equipped with a radio, but it has the correct “delete plate” in the dashboard.

  The 1957 Chevrolet 3100 has always been regarded as one of the most beautiful truck designs of all time. This example presents in a stunning color combination and has been restored to better condition than they ever left the assembly line when new!
