  LMC is very proud to offer for sale this 1941 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible

  Visually, the 1941 Cadillac was a masterpiece of subtle, flowing curves that began with a bold and distinctive grille design. The flat, chromed grille and domed hood were dominant, and two new styling concepts were available, the horizontal valance that enclosed the space between the bodywork and the bumpers and the front fender wind-split creases that began at the headlamps and extended horizontally back along each rear flank of the body. The sole available engine, Cadillac’s refined 346-cubic inch V-8, delivered remarkably silent and smooth operation, 150 horsepower, and plenty of torque. Ride and handling characteristics remain quite good, even by today’s standards, making Cadillacs of the immediate pre-war era excellent choices for collectors and enthusiasts who enjoy driving.

  The beautiful Cadillac Series 62 Convertible Coupe offered here is presented in its rare and desirable factory ordered “code 51” Black exterior with a Tan canvas convertible top complemented beautifully by a Red leather interior. This early Cadillac was owned by a longtime West Coast Cadillac enthusiast who had been a part of the Cadillac LaSalle club for many years. Under previous ownership, this example underwent a complete restoration with great attention to detail. The paint has a deep luster, interior has been redone, engine detailed, gleaming brightwork and period-style wide whitewall tires. Desirable amenities include a radio, clock and very unique and sought after optional automatic transmission. Included with this example are owner’s manuals, spare tire, tools and Cadillac historical paperwork from the General Motors Heritage Center documenting how this beautiful example was originally delivered new in 1941.
