Vintage V12 with Lincoln Style

For the 1940 model yearLincolnwould be offering the Continental model available in cabriolet body style, only 351 are believed to have been built. To this day they remain highly regarded for their exquisite body styling, V12 power and art deco styling throughout the gauges/interior. Some say that as few as 60 of these cars remain today in convertible body style, regardless of how many are still on the road today, there is no denying their beautiful appearance.Beautifully finished in deep Maroon paint, this example shows to have lead a carefully maintained existence. The car has such features as rear fender skirts, wide white wall tires with hub caps and of course the enclosed rear mounted spare the Continental was known for. The interior is exquisitely finished in red leather and the previously mentioned Art Deco style gauges. Finishing the great overall look is a tan convertible soft top which is of course power operated with matching tan cover for a clean look when the roof is retracted. Open the large engine hood and you will find a tastefully detailed V12 engine, upgraded with a 12 volt system for added reliability. The car both starts and drives magnificently. This car is a great example of a rare model. Tastefully restored and maintained, it would make a great car to be driven and enjoyed, sure to attract lots of attention.
