1940 Ford Deluxe Convertible

Fully Restored and a Flathead V8 with Period Hot Rod Extras

The 1940 Ford introduced some new styling cues, some new advances in design and changes adding to driver/passenger comfort, while retaining some of the brilliance that had lead to their earlier successes. Sealed beam headlights now reduced oxidation due to water leaking also causing poor lighting, column mounted shifter making more interior leg room, larger one piece grille encouraged better cooling, while retaining the Flathead V8 power and four wheel drum brakes to name but a few.

This fantastic looking 1940 Ford Deluxe Convertible has benefited from a complete ground up restoration. Finished in a classic shade of maroon, the paint on this car is in terrific condition and is further complimented by tan interior and a tan convertible top. The car is equipped with a power feature mechanical top and of course the 221 cubic inch flathead V8. This particular flathead has also been upgraded with Offenhauser heads and intake along with a modern alternator in place of the original generator for added reliability. A beautifully restored car which been through the restoration process and is ready to be driven and enjoyed.
